DRAFT: to be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. Zone Control Terms of Use Version 2026-10-21 These terms are an agreement between you and the makers of Zone Control ("we", "us"). By ticking the boxes and tapping "Agree and continue", you accept them. If you don't agree, don't play. 1. Who can play You must be 18 or older. If you aren't, you may not use Zone Control. We may close any account we believe belongs to someone under 18. 2. Safety rules Zone Control is played by walking around real places. You are responsible for your own safety and for what you do while playing. You agree to: • Place your board safely. Lay it over an area that is open to the public and safe to walk, such as parks, paths and quiet streets, that you can reach on foot. Avoid busy roads and highways, water, railways, construction sites, cliffs and other drops, and private property. • Keep your eyes up. Watch where you're going, not your screen. • Play on foot only. Never play while driving or riding anything, including a bike, scooter or skateboard. The app stops working at driving speeds. • Stay off busy streets. Use sidewalks and paths, cross only where it's safe and allowed, and obey traffic laws and signals. • Never trespass. Squares can land on roads, water, railways, private property, construction sites and other places you must not enter. Zone Control doesn't check whether a square is safe, public or legal to enter. Leave those squares alone. • Know your limits. Play only where and when you feel safe, take care in the dark and in bad weather, and stop if you feel unwell or unsafe. 3. Your risk Walking outdoors carries risks, including traffic, falls, weather, and other people. You choose to play knowing these risks, and you accept them. You are responsible for your own actions and for any harm they cause. 4. Release To the fullest extent the law allows, you release us from claims for injury, loss or damage that happen while you play or because you played, except where the law does not allow such a release (for example, for gross negligence or willful misconduct). 5. Maps and locations Map data, GPS and squares may be wrong, out of date or imprecise. A square on the map is not permission or a suggestion to go anywhere. 6. Fair play and respect Don't cheat (for example, by faking your location), don't use offensive names, and don't harass other players. We may change or remove names and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. 7. Your responsibility to others You agree to cover claims, costs and damages brought by anyone else because of what you did while playing or because you broke these terms (for example, trespassing). 8. No warranty Zone Control is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. It may be unavailable, change or stop at any time. 9. Limit of liability To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to [AMOUNT: to be set with a lawyer]. 10.
