DRAFT: to be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. Zone Control Privacy Policy What we collect • Your account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. • Your profile: the name, shape and colors other players see, and your birth date, which we ask for once to check you're 18 or older. • The terms you accepted and when. • Your games: the games you create or join, the squares you capture and when, and your scores. • Where you are on a game's board: which square you're in, measured from the board's corner, so other players see you on their own boards. What stays on your phone Your GPS location and where you placed your board never leave your phone. The server only learns which squares you're in on the board, which doesn't say where in the world you are. Maps Maps are loaded from VersaTiles' public map servers, which see your device's internet address and the area of the map you're looking at, as any website you visit would. What we don't do We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps. Who sees what Other players see your name, your shape and colors, your scores, and where you are on the board in games you play together. Keeping and deleting data We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your account and your data in the app, from Profile → Delete account; in games that already finished, your name is replaced with "Deleted player".
